Spero a.k.a. Spero "Whiz Kid" Spero (a.k.a. Correne Melissa Spero)

Spero is a complicated lady. She is one of my very best friends in the whole world and we have been seriously kickin it since the day we met in the 10th grade when we were 15. She is a part time entertainment law-yuh who takes the time to read through all of our contracts, weeding through the legal jargon to make sure that we will not get sued, which I appreciate very much. She is also a whiz with budgets for touring, which is certainly not my favorite activity either. But that is not even how she got her name Spero 'whiz kid' Spero. Spero has been instrumental in recording, engineering and troubleshooting many of our recordings in their very rough demo stages. She has taught me to enjoy the love of a small cat, the importance of a cheese snack, the relevance of my astrology, and has helped me to believe in my own abilities as a musician. Spero also plays guitar and drums in our other band, Lucky Bitch, and has the amazing ability to laugh at herself and never take things too seriously even though shit is mad serious these days. She has also been known to do a number of odd jobs for money, and has most recently enjoyed occasional employment as a freelance music writer.
